“Our Group or Family” 4/12 Nights!

I suggest you try to spend about one year with an incredible group of people and try to say they have not influenced you in your life!
Luckily for me this happened when a group of strangers started a class on April 12th 2011.  We were single wolves that came together to create a strong Wolf-Pack!  All students in our class have special traits and qualities that will allow us to pursue the career we have dreamed of.
Ronnie Taylor married Liani Taylor this year and we all know he will be the best husband possible.  He has been a backbone to our team keeping strong and allowing all of us in the class to stay positive with his good attitude that he has brought to the class on a daily basis.
Speaking of marriage Josh Dover has inspired us with his good attitude and his “Make My Own Destiny” approach to life.  With this attitude he was able to secure his future by proposing to his soul mate Tara Lovato.  These two will live the way we all should, living life to the fullest, with no regrets.  Get that money!
Margarita Matthews AKA “Maggie” has brought the most influential attitude to the team showing all of us that above all family and honesty is the key to life.  She has two wonderful kids that are her center of gravity in this busy life.  For all of us she has been an inspiration to stay positive.
Kevin Rentner showed us that being big and intimidating doesn’t change the fact that he is full of good qualities.  He has showed us that we are all here to get things done and have fun in the process.  Big Kevin likes “Hot Cheetos.”
Chico Chicano has showed us he can represent his state of Colorado and his Label Chop N Dope Records, all while leading a life of “Taking Care of Business.”  He has also fine tuned his skills in audio and video editing to secure his presence in the Colorado rap scene for years to come.
Kelsie AKA “TheArtist Kelsie” has been very influential to all of the class to be as creative as we can be. With her prior art skills and her perfectionist attitude we all know she will get what she deserves.  She is currently helping her family/friends (CoupStick) as they move forward in the local and soon national presence.
Dan Hollingsworth AKA “YoungCountry” is the youngest wolf in the pack and he has somehow inspired us to all do better and encourage each other to do better in class and in life.  He has showed us even though he is young he can have the dedication and strive to make it through the class that we have completed.
Gene Marquez is probably the most verbally honest people on our team.  If we all are thinking about saying it…don’t worry, Gene will say it! Him being so verbally active has made us all think about what is being taught to us and if we will be putting it to use.  Gene will make it in this business and when he does he will be brutally honest with his own intern that he has.
Octavio Armand has surprised us all with the interesting stories he has had and his passion to achieve excellence in either field he is pursuing.  He is verbally qualified to keep your attention even if your brain is not the one he is picking/studying.  Whatever position he gets in the future they will be sure to move him up the chain of command because he knows what he is talking about or simply because he is good with people.
Marybel Gonzales may just be one of the most successful students/friends in our class.  She recently won Miss Colorado 2012 which won’t be her only crown…watch out America!  With her dedication and perseverance to herself and her goals in life, we all have something to learn from her.  For Marybel reaching for the stars isn’t good enough…she wants to grab one and put it in her pocket!
Finally me Nathan Matsoukas…I have learned so much about myself and everyone else that I have spent almost a year with.   I have gone through my problems outside of school just like everyone else, but  I think above all I was able to rely on my strong team/family and new friends for encouragement to go forward and keep my head up.  There is a motto that says “Live Life to the Fullest.”  Good thing for us all…we have been doing this for about a year now.
There is so much we can say about our “Class/Team/Family” but to narrow it down and keep it short we are 4/12 Nights…what did you expect?  We make the difference that everyone talks about.  Our success will be identified by our actions and our heart that we have to improve the industry we are entering.
Watch out for this Wolf-Pack!
Thank you to all the teachers and staff at The Ohio Center for Broadcasting Denver Campus without you all we wouldn’t have our jobs and future jobs and knowledge in the industry.
Stay tuned for future posts.

Google+ ???

Google+ is here but...will we use it?  From Myspace, to Facebook and Twitter and other social network websites and now this.  Can we keep up, or do we even want to?

Just to list a few things that might interest you about Google+

Social Circle's - You are able to put your friends/family/co-workers in different circles and even...enemies?

Hangouts - You can let friends or even whole circles know where you hanging out, they will decide if they would like to hangout with you or not.

Instant Upload - Your phone will automatically upload your photos and you decide which ones you want to share.  Not sure if this one will be liked?

Sparks - You can tell Sparks what your into and it will flood you with things you might like...is how I would put it.

Huddle - Have a text conversation with several different people at once, instead of sending individual text messages and everyone will be involved with each text.  Might possibly decrease texting while driving.

So I will say to you...join and let me know what you think.  Friend me or put my in a friends circle, just not an enemies circle.

Mother Nature

Wow...the East coast is getting a taste of Mother Nature this week.  There have also been some other weather related events that are unusual in the country.  Virginia had the largest earthquake on the east coast since World War II, and Colorado was rattled with a 5.3 which was the largest in Colorado in over 40 years.  Now Hurricane Irene is going to strike the east coast with possibly 100+ mph winds.  At this point there is still time for Irene to shift its path and not cause as much damage as predicted.  We hope all will go well for the east cost.
